Our history..
IVI Engines began trading as an engine replacement centre in 1985. The company was founded to serve the Japanese car market in Ireland and provide it with good quality and low-mileage second hand engines imported from Japan at a low cost. Now, supplying various European engines including Audi, Opel, Volkswagen, BMW, Ford and many more, we are the largest engine centre in Ireland, covering everything from passenger cars to jeeps and trucks. We provide quality service also to main dealers, rental and fleet car operators and insurance companies.
Initially we had one engine fitting bay and one car hoist. Today we have eight bays and eight hoists and we employ eleven staff in our workshop. We offer an emergency Vehicle Recovery Service at a very
reasonable rate to our customers in the Irish and European market. Over the years we have supplied engines on stands for training purposes.
We carry a very large stock and selection of second hand replacement engines, gear boxes, alternators and starter motors at all times for both supply and fitting. The average time for fitting one of our engines is two days, depending on the size of the engine.
